અમદાવાદના ન્યુ રાણીપ વિસ્તારમાં આવેલ એસ.એમ. પટેલ ફાર્મ ખાતે ૧૦ મે, ૨૦૨૬ના રોજ ‘ગુજરાત આઇકોનિક સ્ટાર એવોર્ડ્સ (GISA) 2026’ના ચોથા વર્ષનું’ નું ભવ્ય આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. નિક ફિલ્મ્સ (Nik Films) દ્વારા પ્રસ્તુત આ એવોર્ડ નાઈટમાં “ગ્લેમર, ટેલેન્ટ અને સ્ટારડમ” નો અદભૂત સંગમ જોવા મળ્યો હતો, જેમાં ગુજરાતી સિનેમા અને મનોરંજન જગતના અનેક જાણીતા કલાકારોએ પોતાની ઉપસ્થિતિથી ચાર ચાંદ લગાવ્યા હતા.
શોના આયોજકો નિતીશ પંચાલ અને ભૂમિકા પંચાલના જણાવ્યા અનુસાર, “GISA એવોર્ડ્સનો મુખ્ય હેતુ ઉત્કૃષ્ટ કલાકારોની ઓળખ કરી તેમને સન્માનિત કરવાનો છે. સંસ્થાનું મિશન દરેક કલાકારની ગરિમા જાળવી રાખવાનું અને કલા જગતમાં નવી ઉર્જાનો સંચાર કરવાનું છે, જેથી કલાની જીવંતતા જળવાઈ રહે. આ એવોર્ડ શો દ્વારા કલાકારોના વર્ષભરના સખત પરિશ્રમને યોગ્ય મંચ અને સન્માન પૂરું પાડવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
ગુજરાતી સિનેમા અત્યારે એક સુવર્ણ કાળમાંથી પસાર થઈ રહ્યું છે, ત્યારે આ એવોર્ડ સમારોહમાં પ્રાદેશિક ફિલ્મોની વધતી જતી લોકપ્રિયતા અને વૈશ્વિક સ્તરે તેની નોંધપાત્ર પ્રગતિ વિશે વિશેષ ચર્ચા કરવામાં આવી હતી. ફિલ્મ જગતના દિગ્ગજોએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, જે રીતે ગુજરાતી ફિલ્મો હવે નવતર વિષયો અને આધુનિક ટેકનોલોજી સાથે પ્રેક્ષકોના દિલ જીતી રહી છે, તે જોતા ‘GISA’ જેવા પ્લેટફોર્મ કલાકારો માટે માત્ર સન્માન જ નહીં પરંતુ નવી ક્ષિતિજો સર કરવાનું પ્રોત્સાહન પણ બની રહેશે. કાર્યક્રમ દરમિયાન વર્ષ દરમિયાન હિટ રહેલી ફિલ્મો અને તેની પાછળની આખી ટીમના સંઘર્ષ અને સફળતાને બિરદાવવામાં આવી હતી.
આ મેગા ઈવેન્ટમાં અનેક સહયોગી સંસ્થાઓએ પોતાનો સાથ આપ્યો હતો. ગુજરાતી કલા અને કલાકારોને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા માટે યોજાયેલો આ સમારોહ અમદાવાદના સાંસ્કૃતિક ઇતિહાસમાં એક મહત્વનું સંસ્મરણ બની રહેશે.
